A few small rituals to help the day slow down the moment you walk through the door
Coming home should feel like arriving somewhere softer. But some days, we step through the door while our minds are still somewhere between the commute, unread messages and everything else that followed us home.

The first fifteen minutes can help create that little shift. Start by putting the day down, quite literally. Keys in their usual spot, bag away, shoes off. A touch of order at the entrance can make the rest of the home feel instantly calmer.
From there, change the mood around you. Soften the lights, open a window, bring in a familiar scent or settle into your favourite corner. Sometimes, a few small cues are all it takes for home to feel like home again.
There is no perfect homecoming routine.
Just a handful of familiar habits that help you slow down, settle in and ease into the evening. After all, everything else can wait fifteen minutes.
